If anyone wants to try out core pixel experiences, PixelOS will be the top recommendation. After the discontinuation of Pixel Experience and Pixel Experience Plus, there were few ROMs that delivered pixel-like experience e.g. Project Pixelage, PPUI, Pixel Star. Among them, sources-wise PixelOS has always been the most stable one (as per numerous developers and testers).
PixelOS Marble Edition is kind of a modded version of the original PixelOS. But developer Ashwani tinkered with the sources for optimal smoothness as well as efficiency. As the lead developer of DXUI, he has some serious skill set to offer.
What to expect:
- Core Pixel-like experience
- All the spoofing
- Some useful and user-requested features
- Weekly/Bi-weekly updates
- Of course some minor bugs (as dev is mending with source itself there are some minor bugs, but there will be hotfixes as well)
- Little to no customization
- As per dev himself this is a performance-focused ROM, so expect good to average battery backup, depending on usage
